Montana Services is the main hub in Carcross, with gas, dining, convenience store, laundromat and off-sales open year-round.
A number of businesses open up for the summer in the Carcross area. Matthew Watson General Store is the oldest operating store in the Yukon and sells ice cream and snacks during the summer. Burgers, fries, and even sushi can be found at several small food stands operating in the Carcross downtown. A café and bakery can be found at the Caribou Crossing Trading Post, located about 2 kilometers north of Carcross. Dining is available at the Spirit Lake Wilderness Resort, located about 5 kilometers north of Carcross.
Accommodations in Carcross are very limited. The Little Cabin at Carcross is a vacation rental located in the downtown area. An RV park operates out of Montana Services in the summer. A campground is located next to the airstrip. A few small B&Bs operate at Crag Lake, located a 10 minute drive down the Tagish Road. Spirit Lake Wilderness Resort has a motel and RV park.

Outdoor gear retail, repair, and rentals are not available in Carcross at this time, so make sure you gear up in Whitehorse before you come out! Guided tours of the Montana Mountain trails are currently offered by Boreale Mountain Biking.
